Saskatoon Moving Tips

  • Tip #1

Saskatoon has a great bus system. If you’re moving without a personal vehicle, you should have no trouble getting to your destination. If you plan on using public transit frequently, be sure to pick up a Saskatoon Transit Go-Pass Smart Card. These reloadable cards will save you big-time on fare costs.

  • Tip #2

Saskatoon enjoys dry winter weather and claims one of the lowest snowfall totals of any major Canadian city (well, outside British Columbia anyway). But while the city’s snowplows may get to spend most days indoors, the air temperature can still drop to frightening levels. Saskatoon experiences at least a dozen days of -30°C weather annually, and sometimes more. If you’re moving during the winter make sure to get a forecast and pack some insulated gloves.
